ABOUT OUR GRAMPA PHILL

Tata Phill is our grampa and he is the one who built this site (with a lot of help from his friends at someplace he calls SBI, whatever that is.). We'll tell you a few things about Tata.

He and Grammy Eva live far away (from us) in South Carolina. They like it there a lot, but they still like to go back to Chicago where they lived for many, many years. Tata says he was in real estate there. When I asked Mommy what real estate was she said ,“houses”. Well, we live in a house so I guess that means Mimi & I are in real estate, too. (Mimi is what I call my brother.)

In Chicago, Tata would get up in the mornings very early so that he could shower and shave and put on his suit and his tie (he didn’t like ties so in most of the pictures of him his tie is kinda loose). Then he would either drive for a long, long time to get to his office or take a long train ride to get there.

Tata doesn/t wear ties anymore and he just drives a few minutes to the deli where he works "part-time" - does that mean when he's there he doesn't work all the time, just stands around?

Anyway, he still likes to walk for a long time every morning and he reads and listens to his Walkman - remember them? - while he walks. Tata's pretty sure the other walkers and the bikers think that's a little strange but he does it anyway.

Our Grampa really likes to walk, but he also really likes to EAT, and that's prob'ly why QuickEatsPlus is all about food that tastes good. (We know that's why Tata only likes people to take his picture from the shoulders up.)We sure hope you have fun reading and using his "recipes", whatever those are.
