Not to worry, this page is not aimed at converting your eating habits, your political beliefs or your religion. The conversions

here translate my "American" recipe measurements into ones the rest of the English-speaking world can uderstand. But you Americans can find good stuff on this page, too; things like how much of a dried herb to substitute for the fresh kind; or how many ounces of grated cheese are equal to a cup.

I really appreciate the effort you're making to decipher one of my recipes. I hope you'll be pleased by the dish you create and will return often to QuickEatsPlus - and, of course, that you'll tell your cooking/web-surfing friends and family about us.

If you have, say, a quick and easy U.K. or Continental recipe you'd like to share I'll be happy to use this chart to convert it to English - "American English", that is. I'll even leave in the "liters" and "grams". Just pop over to the "Talk to Me" button and have at it.

And you "Yanks" get the same invitation - please send me a favorite quick and easy recipe for the site.
